Information about Community Acupuncture of Longwood

Pam VerlanderCommunity Acupuncture of Longwood is committed to increasing public access to acupuncture by making acupuncture  affordable. We charge a flat rate of $35 for adults and $20 for students 18 and under. An affordable acupuncture clinic means that more people have the choice to use acupuncture for health care, ultimately building a stronger and healthier community.
Our acupuncturists provide personalized, expert acupuncture in a soothing community setting.  A community setting means that we use cozy reclining chairs in a comfortable group setting. Therefore it’s easy for friends and family members to get treated together.  Your clothes stay on because we use a style of acupuncture called ‘distal needling’, using the most effective acupuncture points which are found below the elbows and knees to treat any condition issue of the body. We may also use some points on the head. You may be surprised at how relaxing you will find an acupuncture treatment. Most people take a nap while their body naturally undergoes the healing process.
Acupuncture can treat over 100 different conditions. Some of the more common health concerns treated at the clinic include: Low Back/Hip Pain, Neck/Shoulder Pain, Knee Pain, Any Pain, Allergies, Addictions, Anxiety/Stress/PTSD/Depression, Fatigue, Headaches, Hypertension, Digestion Problems, Insomnia, Infertility, Neuropathy, Asthma, Nausea, TMJ. If your condition is not listed here, please ask if we can help.
We also provide B12 injections for $20. Micro-current Point Stimulation (needle-less acupuncture) is available at no extra charge when deemed necessary. Miro-current is also good for scar tissue rectification and tendon inflammation. A very nice adjunct to your acupuncture treatment and many times will accelerate your healing process.
